About the Game

We’re working on a brand new comedy-horror VR game with BAFTA award-winning producer Jon Aird based on his extremely successful immersive experience The Burning Room, which he has written and developed with the renowned writer of The League of Gentleman and the movie Ghost Stories, Jeremy Dyson.

The Burning Room is a comedy-horror VR experience taking you deep into the complex and torrid history of both Britain's entrenched industrial past, the perpetual cycle of decrepit housing and failed renovation, and your own psyche, moving from the tidy, presentable exterior we show to the world into the lost questions hanging in the recesses of our minds.

Through narrative produced by an award-winning writer and producer, and the environment and interactive design created by BetaJester's highly experienced development team, we will take players on a journey from the lavish reception to the corrupt soul of Moorside Apartments, whilst immersing them in a story filled with fear, trepidation, laughter, and reality, creating the kind of psychological thriller players have been crying out for since the modern launch of VR.
